My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Purebred Tan rabbit
Size: Small size female
DOB: We have reason to believe this girl is a senior, so we guesstimate over 6
Reason in Rescue: This girl was in a shelter in IN. We were contacted that they were in need of rescue because no one looked for house rabbits in that area and people were only trying to adopt them to eat them :( So we got a transport going and they came here!
Personality: Mary is one of the sweetest bunnies we have here! She loves attention, loves to be held and petted, and will actually fall asleep in your arms if you pet her long enough. Mary, we believe, is a senior. Her eyes are a little cloudy and we have to keep her on an alfalfa pellet to keep her weight up. We still think she deserves a forever home and we would love to find her someplace to retire! She is perfect with her litter box and would be great as a free range bun! Tan's are a special breed, full of mischief and can be high energy, but Mary is very laid back. Mary does also get stress related URI's, so we don't recommend trying to bond her to another bunny or transporting her long distances.
Friends: Mary does best as a single bunny.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
