Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belvedere is looking for someone to play fetch with. He misses playing fetch with his family, that's very obvious. At 4 years old, this black lab/border collie mix came to us when his family gave him up due to him and the other dog in the home not getting along anymore. Belvedere is such a good, family dog.....he belongs back with a family. It's clear that Belvedere misses being in a home terribly. He keeps searching for a familiar face in the people that he meets and it's as if he's wondering when he will be going home. The thing that really cheers up Belvedere is a simple game of fetch. His worries fade, his tail wags, he smiles big, and he fetches a ball as many times as you'll throw it for him. He is such a gentleman too and drops the ball right at your feet each time. Belvedere is so well trained. He walks very well on a leash and knows so many commands like sit, down, heel, shake, and more. While we don't know what happened in his former home, Belvedere seems completely at ease with passing by other dogs and checking them out. If you're interested in him, bring your dog in and we'll see how they do. If you want to add some joy and happiness to your life in the form of a furry, black, fetching-machine, come in and meet our handsome Belvedere! File#26930 9/4/16
