Grace's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**

Oh, sweet Gracie, we will find you the right home! Grace is approximately 5 years old and weighs 5 lbs. She is very timid, pee pad trained and trusting a tad more each day. She loves other dogs but is scared to death of people and the world and does not even like to leave her foster's apartment. Grace prefers to stay home, within her comfort zone, hence the pee pad training.

If you have a quiet home with no small children, a loving heart, and a patient mind, apply to adopt Grace at www.texaschihuahuarescue.com. Her adoption fee, including transportation with vetting paperwork, microchip registration to adopter, collar & harness, is $500 CDN.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. This dog is being fostered in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Hamilton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
