Handsome Charlie is a friendly 2 1/2 year old Shepherd mix ready for a new leash on life. He is a great size, only around 35lbs or so. Perfect for going on jobs with, or snuggling up on the couch for a movie night! Charlie came from a pretty bad situation, and is looking for a loving family that will working with him and understand his needs. He was rescued, along with a couple hundred other animals, from a place where they were neglected and most had major medical concerns. Charlie was skinny and had some skin issues, but has been treated, fattened up, and is ready to be adopted! He is friendly with people, and has played great with the other dogs around his size here. He will need work on his potty-training, and lots of playtime outside. He will need a secure, no-climb fence when outside. Charlie is current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and will stay to be neutered once adopted. Come and meet this special guy at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.
