Hi there! My name is Billy Boy. I am an almost 9 Retriever mix, and I am ready and waiting for a real home to call my own. I haven't had one before, I grew up in a pretty rough place and haven't had much of a chance to be a puppy. I like to play a lot, and love having a friend my size I can run around and wrestle with. I really like getting attention from people too, and like to get belly rubs and scratches. A lot of the animals where I came from got really bad skin infections, and unfortunately so did I. I am doing much better thanks to the medical care I have received since being rescued, and I have also gained a lot of healthy weight! I might grow a little bit more, but shouldn't get much bigger. I have been learning some new stuff, like sitting down before I get a treat of food, and not to jump up on people so much. The last one is hard, I get so excited! But I have been told I'm pretty smart and learn quickly. I am also learning to not go potty inside, only outside. Sometimes I forget though, but I promise to try really hard! I have been neutered, am current on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. I am ready ready ready to go to my new home!!
