Born ~2013, Male, Purebred Norwegian Forest Cat
his magnificent boy was originally purchased from a breeder and his original owner had to give him up because she moved into an apartment where pets were not allowed. Charlie has been living with his current family for approximately 1 year. Unfortunately it turns out that Charlie’s owner (the man in the house) is highly allergic. Despite allergy shots for the last year, it is not getting better so Charlie’s kind human mom has asked our organization to help find this lovely boy a perfect forever home.
Charlie has the typical characteristics of the Norwegian Forest Cat breed. The breed is known to be intelligent, sensitive and human bonded. His owner describes him as a very affectionate, compassionate and kind kitty boy. He likes to sit next to his humans and engages in gently play. He loves to be petted, but doesn’t care to have his belly rubbed. If you love having a foot warmer in bed, you can count on Charlie to provide that service.
Charlie gets along with other kitties. Since he has not been around children, we don’t know how he will behave around them. He also has not been around dogs.
Adopting Charlie means that you’ll have a faithful buddy for life. He is an indoor only kitty.
This wonderful boy is well groomed, up to date with shots, and even had his teeth professionally cleaned. He eats a high quality protein diet and uses his litter box as intended…speaking of litter boxes, please do provide him with a big litter box so he can fit his strapping body into it with ease.
