Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chloe is a sweet, quiet girl - she rarely barks at anything. She is very eager to please and learn. She has already learned sit and is working hard on learning to lay down and stay with the encouragement of some yummy treats which she takes treats from your hand gently. She loves to run laps around the yard and enjoys playing with her pup, Cajun, and foster family. She wants to chase and play with anything that runs - including cats so may not be good around cats that aren't tolerant of dogs already. Chloe is a big girl at 75 lbs and could probably use another 10-15 lbs to fill out. She loves to curl up at your feet or if you let her, next to you on the couch. She is still working on crate training and has gotten much better about going into the crate at night or when her foster family leaves without much protest - she still fusses for a few minutes when she first goes into the crate but has started settling down sooner in the last couple days. Chloe is doing very well with housetraining & will just need reminders when going to a new home. A home with a fenced in yard will be required for Chloe as she loves to romp with lots of playtime outdoors!
Chloe was rescued by Dolly's Legacy along with her adorable pup, Cajun, from rural Southeastern Missouri, when they were found as strays and not reclaimed. Chloe is an amazing mama and loves to play with her pup but also enjoys her own time to be spoiled and loved on.
Chloe appears to be an Alaskan Malamute/mix, has one blue & one brown eye and is approximately 2 yrs old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. She tested heartworm negative. Adoption fee is $300. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved.
