Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Topsy is a 2 year old, 17 pound Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. She is a great traveler. In the car, she rides perfectly. During the day time, Topsy is not crated. She prefers to spend her alone time sleeping the day away in a cozy bed. The majority of the time, she’s a total couch potato. She spends all day and night sleeping on the couch. She enjoys staring at the TV and is very much intrigued by the sounds of it. Her foster mom has yet to hear her bark. Topsy is fully housetrained going to the bathroom only outdoors. She’s a super cuddler and loves crawling on your lap. She will even paw at you for attention – its adorable.
Topsy’s foster mom says: Topsy is honestly the most amazing dog we’ve ever fostered…and we’ve fostered well over 50 dogs so that’s saying a lot!! Indoors, she’s very calm and quiet, and absolutely loves just being by your side or crawling onto your lap. The couch is her favorite place ever, and prefers to spend the majority of her time on it. She probably would never get off if she had the choice! She has no reactivity to anything, and is even good with the cats. She let my cat lick her from the moment she walked into our home! When I walk her outside, she’s loves attention. She tends to stop in place when she sees someone walking by and starts wagging her tail to get the person’s attention and be petted. She’s also very dog-friendly and tries to greet every dog she sees.
Overall, Topsy is just an AMAZING dog! I know there’s no such thing as a perfect dog but she’s uh….well perfect!
