Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It isn't bad enough to be given up by your family, but on Christmas?? That's a real kick in the can. That's what happened to our lovely lady Luna, a 2 year old Dogo Argentino that came to us from our Newark facility after her owner turned her in due to being unable to care for her any longer. Luna has put that whole incident behind her and is focused on finding on a loving family that will never let her go again. This is a dog that seriously never stops smiling. Just show her a little attention and Luna is your best friend for life. She is highly energetic and would love a home with a nice yard to run and exercise in and an active family that will take her hiking and on adventures. Luna is strong on a leash and could use some training with that but she is such a fast learner. She is very well behaved and people focused when indoors though, and just wants to hug you, try to climb in your lap, and nuzzle her head against you for attention. She sits nicely when asked and takes treats and toys very gently. Luna will need a home with no cats but doesn't seem to mind other dogs. If you can give her the happy life she deserves, come in and meet Luna. File#26946 12/25/16
