Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi People,
Please allow me to introduce myself: I’m Kissable Kookie – and I’m twelve pounds of sweetness and cuteness in a tall and adorable package. Well I’m not really a package – I’m actually a handsome bichon boy of six. Mom says I’m a happy go lucky guy who is an excellent house guest. I love to sun bathe in the back yard (when it’s not raining of course!) and am an expert at ‘fluffing up’ the dog beds in our house. She calls me a precious lovebug and says I’m affectionate and snuggly — a really good boy who loves people of all shapes and sizes.
My BFK Aunties said to tell you that I am a champion cuddler who loves to snuggle up next to everyone who comes to visit. I’m the first one at the door when someone arrives. (That’s what you do when you’re a greeter!) In fact, you can think of me as a “one dog welcome wagon”!) And I also like to help. So when the handyman came over to help Mom with some projects I sit very quietly next to him for hours, ready to help in case he needs any help!
One of my very favorite things to do is to learn new things. I love to go for walks and rides in the car. I’m also great at asking for ‘pets’ and loves’ and am very convincing! My doggy foster brother is also a great teacher. He’s showing me what to do with toys and I’m learning that toys can be fun, too. We get along great and I’m glad I can learn from him.
I’m housebroken and crate trained — but I’m so good that I get to sleep in the Big People’s bed. Mom says I’m also a perfect gentleman in the car. I enjoy looking out the window or curling up on the seat for a snooze.
Like many furkids, I would love to be in a home with a family who will spend lots of time with me and let me love them to pieces. Well, maybe not pieces, but you get the idea. I can either be with other furkids or can be the only pup in the house, as long as I have ‘my people.’
Oh and one other thing. When I became a furkid I had already lost an eye. My Aunties don’t know what happened but I’ve been adjusting to it and it doesn’t affect my love of life or people.
Do I sound like the bichon you’ve been looking for? If I do, please fill out an application and ask for Kookie. I can’t wait to meet you!
Love and Snuggles,
Kool, Kind-hearted and Kissable Kookie
