Ingrid's Story...
Hi! My name is Ingrid. I'm a 1 year old Domestic Short Hair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a nice girl who adores spending my days sitting in the sun and taking a good cat nap. I love the company of my people, but I would really like it if I was the only animal in the house, I can be a bit cranky around other kitties. I don't seem to like playing much in my kennel, but once I'm comfortable in my new home I'm sure I will show you how good I am at chasing and playing with toys! If I sound like the perfect cat companion for you, please come and meet me at the shelter today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ingrid, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
