Maime's Story...
FOR ADOPTION: MAIME is a roughly 12 week old feisty female kitten that will fit well in most house holds.
This girl is the purrfect mixture of play and cuddles. She enjoys a rowdy play session with the other cats and kittens, but she is gentle and very willing to be caught and held by people, even toddlers!
Maime is very good with other cats of all ages and loves every person she meets. Dogs, on the other hand, frighten her, and she would need a very gentle and calm dog if she were to learn to love one. She has a wonderfully fluffy coat that will require grooming to keep her mat free, but is an otherwise low maintenance girl.
Maime is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick/lice medication and will come with a spay contract. If your family is looking to add a fluffy ball of fun and love to your life apply today at for a chance to meet Maime and all of our other fabulous felines!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maime, a Smithers Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Smithers, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Smithers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithers paves the way for another one to be saved.
