Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calvin is a two year old beagle who weighs 24lbs and was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky, after being found as a stray. He is very petite and small framed with beautiful tri-color markings.
Calvin thinks he is a lap dog as any time his foster family sits down next to him he immediately climbs into their laps. He loves be pet and held. Calvin has wonderful copper colored big beagle ears that he loves to have stroked. He is getting along great with other dogs in his foster home, and is very docile and submissive to people and other animals. Calvin loves children, is very friendly and enjoys going on walks. Calvin spent his entire life outside, on a chain, and still loves being outside but is really doing good learning his inside manners too. He stays in a crate while foster family is out and likes sleeping near people at night. Calvin is a very easy, lovable beagle who would be a great family dog.
As he was an outside dog for his life, his house training is still a work in progress. However he is eager to please and with time, patience, and consistency, will pick up it up in no time!
