"Fancy" is a beautiful 6-year old female Border Collie mix who was accepted at the HSOV on January 13, 2017 as a transfer from a nearby shelter whose facility was deemed unsafe for housing their dogs, and we offered "Fancy" and four of her friends a safe place to stay. "Fancy" has a black-and-white medium smooth coat, a long tail, and a very pretty face with a dusting of white on her muzzle. She holds her right ear semi-erect while her left ear flops over, and this gives her such an endearing appearance. "Fancy" has a gentle, rather demure, disposition and is quite friendly. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people and doesn't rush into quick relationships. She is a little nervous when she hears loud noises and the flash on the camera was also stressful to her :( "Fancy" will make someone the best dog they've ever had the privilege of sharing their life with given a little TLC and time to gain her trust. "Fancy" isn't a very large girl and currently weighs 28.2 lbs. She was spayed on January 19, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.
