Lola's Story...
This little darling is Lola, a silly little 9 month old Chihuahua/Dachshund ready for a new leash on life! She was brought to us a stray, and though her previous owner was located, they did not come to claim her. Lola is a typically wiggly and sweet pup, and is so soft! She loves playing with her roommate about her size and age, and would love to have a friendly canine companion in her new home. She would be fine with kids who know how to act around a small dog, and not grab at her. She is working on her potty-training, but with a regular routine should pick it up quickly! Lola has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook! We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Benbrook Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
