Neutered Male Black & White Poodle/Terrier Mix 3 yrs. 15 lbs.

Duke had his photo session today so that he can start his search for his new home. If you look at the photos you may wonder just where is eyes are! But they’re there, hiding behind his cute, shaggy mop of a coat! When you meet him in person you will see that not only are they there, but they are soft and soulful and will melt your heart.

Duke is a dear little dog who is a bit overwhelmed by having been first in a shelter and now in a kennel environment. Given the warmth and security of a loving home, he is sure to blossom. In his short stay with a foster before coming to the rescue kennel he began to give glimpses of his true affectionate self, wagging his little docked tail and wiggling with delight when he saw his foster mom.

What this sturdy, adorable little mop of a dog needs now is someone like you to give him a warm, loving home where he can relax, snuggle up to you and come into his own. He will reward you by being your grateful, loyal companion for life.

Dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoption.

The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
