Ritter just returned to rescue today. here's what his dad said about him: He is crate trained, house trained, chews only his toys, gets along with all other dogs (unknown about cats). He stays off the furniture (that won't last long back in rescue). He is great with kids and loves to be outside playing and running. He thinks fetch is stupid but loves to learn new tricks all the time especially if being taught with treats. Laps are great to snuggle on as is sleeping next to you all night. The only reason he was returned is because he likes to escape the front door when the kids go in and out so being aware of him and doors is necessary but easy to fix and work on if he's so smart. I'm guessing he just wanted to follow the kids which is what this breed does. He is a year old in Nov so still young. He says a family with a running partner would be really cool but not a necessity. I left his puppy pics up so you can see how he changed. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms and lets get this boy back into a home asap.

Ritter is - well - he's my little bear cub. Small, fluffy and cute as a button. Due to his size he sometimes gets picked on so I have to save him and he's loves it. I think he cries wolf just so he gets held. Seriously though, Ritter is a sweet little pup and doing so well in the house. The pups have been in the house since around 6 weeks old and are doing great with house training and they use the doggy door as well.  Get your application in now www.krrtx.org/forms
