Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*****Adoption Pending*****
MERCEDES - Female, Coonhound mix, 5 yrs, 46 lbs.
Update: "Mercedes is such a lady; very polite when asking for anything, eats quietly in her crate, stays near her people and naps most of the day away! She is house-trained well but not leash-trained yet (she's a puller) but we're working on it. She sure does love meeting any new people. Gentle with my 10 & 8 year old kids and cat. Sleeps with me at night but happy to use her own bed if told to do so. Oh and when she's doing her happy dance she smiles (lifts her front lips)."
Mercedes had been at the shelter since July 2016 and is ready for her get out of jail free card. Coonhounds are the hardest breed for the shelter to adopt out (even harder than pit bulls). They are wonderful, loyal dogs who can make great house pets with a little work. She walks well on leash, is good with dogs and kids (6+).
