Miss Kitty (Spayed)'s Story...
"Miss Kitty" is a cute 5-month old female kitten who was surrendered by her owner on December 1, 2016 along with several of her best friends with whom she shared her home.

"Miss Kitty" has a dark brown swirled tabby short smooth coat with bronze highlights, a long tail, and an adorable face with innocent trusting eyes. She has a sweet disposition and loves the comfort/security of her best friend "Tutu" (who is most likely her sister).

"Miss Kitty" was given vaccinations and wormer on December 1, 2016. She is very petite and weighs just 3.8 lbs. This updated photo was taken on January 29, 2017. "Miss Kitty" will be spayed (at no cost to her new family) before she is adopted. We'd love to see her and "Tutu" find a home together since they are very bonded with each other :)

UPDATE: "Miss Kitty" (and also "Tutu") were spayed on February 1, 2017 and were also given rabies vaccine.

She and "Tutu" are currently at the WeLovPets Store, Lafayette Plaza, Marietta Ohio where they are available for adoption through the HSOV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Kitty (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
