Daisy's Story...
What a gorgeous girl! Daisy is a 5 year old Husky looking for love! She was brought to the shelter after she was attacked by another dog and her owner couldn't afford to take her to the vet. She had a pretty severe wound in her neck, but was able to be cleaned and stitched up. She is fully healed, and ready to find a family! Daisy is a great girl, and loves playing with dogs, and is even good with cats! She has a typical husky yodel, and is very energetic! She would love a home where someone can take her out to play quite often, and would enjoy having a playful dog to keep her company too. Daisy does great with her housetraining, and does best when kept on a regular schedule. She is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She will stay to be spayed once adopted. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Benbrook Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
