Flame is a petite Flame-Point Siamese young lady. She is very timid but her confidence is building. She is learning that life inside is so much better. She was befriended by another stray cat named Caspian. He is her protector & her playmate. We would be thrilled to see them adopted together, but not required. Flame will require a home that is willing to be patient with her and give her time to adjust to her new environment. We would prefer a home for her with no small children as they would make her nervous. She does well with small dogs. We will require previous or current cat ownership history & excellent vet reference to adopt Flame.
Flame was part of a group of farm kitties that were to be trapped, spayed/neutered & released (TNR) back to farm life by a good samaritan trying to keep the population down. When examined by the vet she was found to be dehydrated, malnourished and with upper respiratory infection. The people that saved her knew that she wouldn't survive if put back outside. Those people contacted Dolly's Legacy to see if we could take her in, get her healthy, and give her the life she needed as an indoor kitty, safe from the dangers of outdoor life. We saw her precious little face & knew we had to help her. She has recovered from her respiratory infection, is learning that toys are lots of fun, and that being warm & safe inside is a much better life.
Flame was born in the summer of 2016. She is petite & is a mostly white Flame Point Siamese with beautiful blue eyes. Since she was to be TNR, her left ear was tipped which saddens us, but it doesn't have any affect on her. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed & tested negative for FIV/FELV. She has perfect litterbox manners. Adoption fee is $125. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application.
