Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Five-month-old Sourdough spent her first three months living outside with a colony of cats. In early December, Sourdough and her sister (Sweet Roll) were trapped and brought into a foster home. They had never interacted with humans before, though, so at first it was pretty scary for them! As time went on, however, they both learned that humans were pretty cool after all--not to mention that it's pretty awesome to have a warm place to sleep, food to eat, and toys to play with!
Sourdough used to be extra scared and would frequently hiss at her foster mom or try to hide. Nowadays, however, she's perfectly fine hanging out with humans and even enjoys being pet. While she still occasionally uses the four letter word "hiss," more often she likes to say "purr"!
Sour absolutely adores the adult cats at her foster home. While many kittens are a little too rambunctious or in-your-face for older kitties, Sour understands how to "respect her elders" and is readily accepted by the resident kitties. Because she loves other kitties so much, Sourdough will definitely need to be adopted with another cat or go to a home that has other cats already--to which she says, "the more, the merrier!"
Despite being a petite girl, Sourdough is very food motivated and will come running when it's meal time or treat time! When not eating or cuddling with one of the other kitties, her favorite activities include chasing the laser pointer, destroying fluffy toys, and climbing to the highest perch possible to look out over the world.
