Batgirl
Born 6/16/17--female Tuxedo DSH

Batgirl is a 5-6 month old female kitten. She was brought to into rescue by a concerned co-worker of her foster mom. Her foster mom kept wanting to change her name to something a little more poetic but she has such a perfect little bat girl mask that the name just seemed to stick.

Batgirl has a healthy, thick coat. She is very shy but will quickly warm up to you after she feels safe. She likes her foster kitty siblings and is good with other cats and dogs. She is very smart and quiet. She loves to lounge in her cat tree looking out the window and studying the birds. She will be fully vetted.

Batgirl is fostered in West Sacramento

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Batgirl, a Davis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
