Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy is a senior boy who just turned 9 years old. He is a Manx with a very short tail somewhere between a stumpy and a rumpy riser. If you are familiar with the Manx breed then you know exactly what that is, but if you are not, it would be fun to look it up and learn all about this amazing breed. Buddy is a people cat - but he likes to get to know you first before you become best friends. Sit in a recliner and he will join you. After you pet him for a few seconds he is purring and ready to lay down. Ready to get up, just tap his bottom. He will look at you - tap again and he hops down. He will usually greet you at the door when you come home. Where have you been? How could you have left him? And don't let any holes appear in his food bowl. He can't see the food for the hole! Don't expect him to be a mouser. He is afraid of the mouse! Don't expect him to be graceful either. He missed that gene. But if you need a cat to purr away the stress as he sleeps on your lap - Buddy's the one! He has been with a family that loves him dearly, but sadly must find him a new home due to severe allergies. He has been around a small child, an occasional dog, but has not been around other cats. I have found that introducing new cats can be very successful if done slowly.
