My story

Benny is a lovely approx. 8 year old tweenie Doxie surrendered to a local shelter by owners who couldn't care for him properly. He hadn't been to a vet in a very long time and his nails were curling around and making it tough for him to walk normally. Unfortunately he tested positive for heartworm, which could have been easily prevented if he had just been kept on monthly prevention, and we will be handling his treatment at our vet over the next several months. He will need a calm quiet home in which to recover. He's a little nervous at first but very gentle and sweet and is ok with other calm gentle dogs. Email njwoof@cs.com if you are interested.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
