Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rosa, Latin for the flowering shrub, known as a rose, also refers to the color pink. Rosa is also a timeless name, shared by American civil rights activist Rosa Parks. Meet our Rosa, she is a 58lb 3 year-old female Pit-bull. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Rosa is fostered with children ages 8 and above with whom she is very loving. “Delightful,” describes Rosa, as does, affectionate, eager to please, Joyful, playful, and, well-behaved. Rosa knows, “Sit,” and is working on her recall when she is off-leash. Rosa is the only dog in her foster home and can be selective of dog friends. If you already have a dog and are interested in adopting Rosa, we can arrange for a proper introduction to make sure that Rosa is not only the best match for you, but also for your dog. Rosa is loose when left alone—with a bone if it’s going to be a while. She's happy to sleep curled up in the sun. She is also well housetrained. Rosa walks well wearing a Gentle-leader harness. She is eager to greet other people on her walks. Rosa is the perfect companion dog—she enjoys walking with her people on leash, playing with toys, snuggling in front of the fire, on the couch, on your lap, or under the covers. Rosa needs a little time and patience getting used to new experiences, like, riding in the car, or having a bath. But, she is highly trainable, intelligent, and very motivated to please her people. Rosa’s perfect family would enjoy a balanced life that includes a little work (walk) a little play and a whole lot of snuggling.
