Melanie and her mate were taken away from their owners due to neglect while she was pregnant. She gave birth to 3 beautiful blk baby pugs before coming into our rescue when her babies were a wk old. Daddy pug and babies have all found their forever homes and now it is time for Mommy to find hers. Melanie has been in a foster home for the past few months and her foster Mom said she is the easiest and sweetest foster that she has ever had. Melanie loves to play ball, loves to go for walks, cuddle on the recliner and snuggle on your lap. She is about 3 years old, is completely housebroken, enjoys other dogs but would be happy being an only dog. She is good with children, (we would recommend older kids) would make a great pet for a first time pet owner or and older retired couple. Melanie was a wonderful, loving Mom to her babies and we would like to find her a home where she can be the center of attention and receive the love that she so greatly deserves.
