Kiva's Story...
We would like you to meet Kiva!
Kiva was the mother to a beautiful litter of 8 pups that have since found their forever homes through our rescue, but Kiva is still waiting for her forever home and we don't know why!
Kiva is a beautiful 2 year old Mixed breed dog. We are not completely sure of her breed but our best guess would be Rottweiler/Lab maybe with some Pit bull in there too. Kiva is such a wonderful dog. Her foster describes her as "the perfect dog". Kiva has a wonderful demeanor. She has been fostered with dogs big and small and is fine with them all. Kiva is wonderful with kids as well. She has not been introduced to cats at this time but we believe with slow, proper introductions she would be absolutely fine. Kiva is house broken, and has no need for a crate as she is a perfect lady in the house. She walks well on a leash, has basic obedience and will make an absolutely wonderful addition to the family that is lucky enough to call her their family member.
Kiva has been waiting far too long for her forever home to come along. If you have room in your home and heart for Kiva, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiva, a Oxford Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
