Alexi's Story...
Alexi is looking for someone to love her forever!
Alexi is a 2 month old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix (AKA Chiweenie). It doesn't get much cuter than this little girl! Alexi is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She would prosper in a home that is active and will give her the needed amount of play and exercise time. Alexi will need her forever family to teach her about crate training and house breaking!
If you wish you bring Alexi home, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill our an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexi, a Oxford Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
