Rudy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rudy's Story...
Rudy- 2 year old neutered male pocket lab/pug mix. Weighs about 25 lbs

This little cutie is a friendly guy walks well on leash and is house trained. He gets along great with other dogs and plays for hours. He especially likes his quiet time when he gets to snuggle with you or curl up with one of his dog buddies. Rudy had been in a rural shelter since June 2016 before coming into our rescue. We enjoy guessing his breed because he has such a fun look to him but who knows for sure what he is mixed with. Come out and meet this gorgeous chocolate guy and give him the forever home he has been waiting for.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a DFW Pug/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Labrador Retriever for sale in DFW, or seeking a Pug/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in DFW.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in DFW already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a DFW breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pug/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in DFW paves the way for another one to be saved.
