Hello. My name is Kodi and I’m about a year old. I was in a foster place in NC when I was only 4 months old and now I have been taken in by some great people at a veterinary office. MomsVA is helping to spread the word to try and find me a forever home.

I’m a bit shy with new things but once I warm up I really like to play and hope to find a family that makes me feel safe and has time to spend with me. I’m part Red Heeler (which means I am S-M-A-R-T). I have had some ‘basic training’ and I am a quick learner. I like to use my brain so I would love to be with a person/family who makes me think and learn new things.

I am also part Beagle (which means I like to be in a pack) and part Lab (which means I really want to please my person/family). I would be my most happiest if I have some room to roam, interaction during the day, and a family that has experience raising an active puppy like me!
