Kachina Doll (Pregnant)'s Story...
"Kachina Doll" is a lovely 4-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 23, 2017. This little dollbaby has a brown tabby short smooth coat with subtle orange highlights, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with large green/gold eyes, a brown button nose, and a white milk mustache.

'Kachina Doll" has a calm, quiet disposition and was quite the lady when we stopped by to take her preliminary glamour photos while she was enjoying a beauty rest atop her elevated bed.

"Kachina Doll" is a lady-in-waiting (make that a mother-to-be) and will giving birth to baby kittens in the near future. She was given Pyrantel wormer and Revolution flea treatment on February 23, 2017 but was not vaccinated because of her pregnancy.

"Kachina Dolll" weighs 8 lbs.

We would love to find a rescue group (or a foster mother) who would give "Kachina Doll" a safe haven while she awaits the birth of her kittens.

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.

"Kachina Doll" was combo tested on February 28, 2017 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kachina Doll (Pregnant), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
