Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is currently living in a foster home in Edgerton, Wisconsin.
Jax, also goes by his full name Jaxon Cubby….. he might not look like much in a picture but boy let me tell you how sweet and wonderful this young boy is! And not to say that Jax isn’t adorable in pictures, it’s just what happens when you meet him in person that will make you fall head over heels in love with this highly adoptable dog. He’s lovable, so so lovable. Lovable, friendly, charming, sweet. And a PERFECT medium size at only 30 lbs. Good with kids, good in the house, good with snuggling.
There are 2 things you should know when you look at his photos (Jax is on the right in the second photo, next to his brother Remy who is also looking for a home): that Jax is a young boy a little less than a year old and the white on his nose is a birthmark that we call his milk mustache, and that his full name is Jaxon Cubby because in person, you would swear he is a baby bear cub from his profile.
Jax is about a year old, healthy, already neutered and microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He looks like a lab mix but has something cuter and smaller in the mix too, as he is only 30 lbs. Jax loves other dogs, people, and toys. He’s a good boy in the house and is crate trained while his foster mom is at work. Jax was rescued living outside in a trailer park earlier this year along with his brother Remy, who he just adores- he has been nothing but love ever since we brought him into our care and into his foster home. Jax is pretty much potty trained already, plays nicely with other dogs and kids, and loves to snuggle. He also has done well with the cat in his foster home. He LOVES TO SNUGGLE- it had to be reiterated.
So many people pass up the dogs like Jax, because he is a black dog (a beautiful black dog) and he’s harder to see in photos, but he is a standout dog in our rescue and a great pet for a family wanting a sweet well behaved medium sized dog in their life. Please give Jax a chance- he’s a great soul to love.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
