Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harley is spirited, fearless, and known around the shelter as the “King of Fetch.” He is a spitfire best suited for an experienced owner who can manage his willful nature. He is a three-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix, and a little fireball weighing 16 pounds. It is a plus for Harley that his antics are pure entertainment, and he will make a great companion. Harley has no clue that he is a little dog classified as a Toy breed. In his head, he is a big guy. He is an active dog and curious about everything. He will require mental stimulation and he loves walks, but he will not require a lot of exercise if his mind is kept active. Harley will flip over on his back for everyone he meets, because they must be there to rub his belly. His quirk is that being picked up is not for him. Harley is accepting of the leash and will hop into any lap, but he would prefer you do not pick him up. Harley wants to be your companion dog and he promises deep love and loyalty to his new family. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. Out-of-state adoptions to surrounding states are possible; however, an in-person introduction with us and our dogs is mandatory. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
