My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof, woof!! We are a family of 10 beagle-mix puppies in search of our new homes! Our momma, May, was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina. We are so happy that she was removed from that place; she did not deserve to live that kind of life. May was taken to a shelter first, and then she was rescued by Penny Angels!! She made her trek up to NJ on Jan 7th via the Carolina Babies Dog Transport. Some of us puppies were actually born (on that snowy day) during the transport, and the rest of us were born after we arrived in NJ. We were not even 1 day old, and we had already experienced our first BIG adventure!! We can’t wait to experience more exciting things!

Joan & Ken from Penny Angels Beagle Rescue have been taking good care of us the past 8 weeks, but soon we will be ready to find our forever families! There are 7 boys and 3 girls in our beagle-mix clan. Our mom was a beagle, but we never met our dad, so we don’t really know how big we will be when we are older. We are happy & sweet pups that love to play, and we would make a wonderful addition to any home!

We will be spayed and neutered prior to adoption. Five male puppies were adopted on March 11, and the remaining 2 boys and 3 girls should be ready for adoption on March 18. We will be given at least 2 vaccinations before we are adopted. We will still need to receive 1-2 more vaccinations within the next month or two as per your vet’s instructions. We will also need a rabies vaccination when we are approx. 6 months old; we are too young to receive it now. When we go to the vet’s office to get spayed and neutered, we will be microchipped as well.

Since we are still puppies, we will need some help with housetraining, but that shouldn’t be too difficult once we get settled in your home. Patience & consistency are important! We will also need to learn some puppy manners so that we can grow up to be well-behaved adults! Please remember that adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment! We want to spend our whole lives with you; a little bit of effort now will work wonders later! If you don’t think you will have the time, energy, or financial resources to take care of us, please reconsider your decision to adopt a puppy.

If you are interested in adding one or more of May’s puppies to your family, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels. You will have to be pre-approved before you can adopt a puppy, so please submit your application today! An adoption application can be obtained by visiting our web site at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. If you have any questions, please contact beagler534@comcast.net or emnase@aol.com, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!
