Jerry's Story...
Jerry is looking for his forever home!
Jerry is a handsome 11 month old Maine coon mix kitty! This handsome boy likes to kind of hang out by himself. He is friendly but isn't a very needy cat. Jerry is good with other cats, and dogs. Jerry is fine with kids but tends to steer away from a lot of noise! He is a beautiful cat, that is very deserving of his forever
We would prefer that Jerry be adopted with his brother Tom, but will consider a home with them separate as well.
If you have room in your home for Jerry, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a New Milford Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
