Babs Walters's Story...
Little Barbara “Babs” Walters was found stray in the inland empire, fending for her frail self in a big world. She loves other dogs, big and small, and finds comfort in cuddling near them when in a new situation. She is a little shy with new people at first, but easily warms up once she knows she can trust the human by her side. Babs is a nice walker on leash. In her temporary foster home, she helped an emotionally broken dog find his confidence. She would enjoy sharing a home with another dog and would be an especially good ‘therapy dog’ match if you have a nervous or fearful pup in need of a friend

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babs Walters, a Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
