Meet Zeus Guy, a handsome and sweet 7 year old lab. This is an easy going boy of about 55 pounds who will always greet you with a smile.
He came to SCLRR from a local shelter where he was turned in by his owner. It is obvious he has missed out on a lot of love and family time over the past few years as this boy craves affection from the people who surround him. He is a Velcro dog who loves to be where you are.
Zeus Guy is a low to medium energy boy who likes his two short walks a day. He is still learning his leash manners and pulls when he first gets going. At this point, he is not an off leash dog as he will not always come when called.
He loves his tennis balls! He will play fetch as long as he has a willing partner. He likes his toys but is not possessive and is happy to share.
Zeus Guy is well behaved in the house and rarely barks. He is not anxious or destructive when left alone. He does not counter surf and is not food possessive. He is housebroken and generally likes his crate. He sleeps soundly through the night and his doggie snores might lull you to sleep too.
He is fine with the other dogs he meets but does not have a great desire to play with them. He much prefers to hang out with his human companions. He is gentle with children but is sometimes clumsy and can easily trip or knock over someone small. He would be okay with a doggie companion but might be better as your one and only as he craves lots of attention.
Zeus Guy is a sweet boy who is ready to find his forever home. Since he has been with SCLRR, this boy has had a complete makeover: he has been neutered, vaccinated, warts removed, a dental and microchipped.
