Sheba is a little doll! She is coal black with a splash of white on her chest. Her eyes are so deep and soulful. She looks like she is looking right through your soul! Sheba found herself in rural Georgia animal control on the euthanization list due to overcrowding. We rescued Sheba and had her transported to Nashville. She loves everyone she meets! So great with other dogs and kids. Wonderful on leash. She's only about 10 months so Sheba has a lifetime of memories to make with her new family. She is going to be an amazing family member! Come meet this awesome girl! Sheba is a well behaved dog that loves to play. She really enjoys toys that she tosses in the air while playing with them. Anytime she needs something she'll let you know with a gentle paw to your leg. Likes being outside in the sun but does not like the water unless she's drinking it.

About Keely's Friends Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Keely was my 14-year-old pitbull that crossed Rainbow Ridge a few years ago. She was the most mishievous, rambunctious girl you can imagine and she was my girl. She was the kind of dog that many would have given up on. She was an escape artist and I spent many days and nights searching for her once even finding out that she had snuck in through a neighbor's cat door and walked upstairs to his bedroom, jumped on his bed and woke him up with a lick in the face at 3am in the morning. On one of our daily runs I had to swim into a cow pond to save a cow that she had decided to grab by the ear while the cow was taking a dip. She decided my neighbor's pet llama was a little too close to me one day and decided to grab her around the throat....llama was fine. So many fun stories...smile emoticon I often wondered if Keely had not found me and ended up in animal control....would she have made it out? Most pits don't....over 750,000 euthanized yearly...90% of bully-type dogs that end up in animal control are PTS immediately. This led me to start a rescue group named after Keely. I mainly rescue medium to large breed dogs from animal control as we know those are the first ones to be euthanized. I also focus on catahoulas as those are often misunderstood and end up in animal control but I've worked with all breeds. Keely's Friends Dog Rescue has rescued and rehomed over 70 dogs at this point and I look forward to helping so many more. I dream of a world where we no longer have to euthanize any dog for overpopulation and every dog has a wonderful, loving home.
