My name is Nilo! I am a 3-4 yr old Silver Pitbull/Weimaraner mix looking for the love of my life! I'm a couch potato, but if you're up for it, I also have plenty of energy for walks and adventures. I get along great with other dogs and love to play! I have had minimal interaction with cats and children, but I think I like them. I was rescued from death row at a kill shelter, I had a family for a while but they mistreated me and then gave me up. I am a bit fearful of new people. When someone new wants to get close and look me in the eyes, I get scared and let them know by doing what foster mom calls my grumble growl. I don't snap, I just try to warn them that I am uncomfortable. I've come a long way with my foster family and let them snuggle tight and handle me however without growling. I have so much love to give and am looking to loyally protect and love my forever human. If I can find someone who is experienced with dogs and willing to take their time with me, we will undoubtedly be best friends! Would you like to meet me?
