Toby is about 6 yrs old -- he is a big handsome boy. He acts more like a dog than a cat sometimes. He may have some Maine Coon in his genes due to his physical traits per his vet, although he is short hair. . He adores attention and will talk when he wants something.. He has a gentle demeanor with people, laid back and not demanding, when he wants something he will tell you. For such a big guy he has a squeaky little voice. He will roll over on his side which says "pet me". He likes to hang out with people. Loves his treats. Has his playful moments but for the most part is a lounger, relaxed and mild mannered. . Toby seems to be a people magnet - everybody likes Toby. Toby DOES NOT like dogs. And he would do best as an only cat. Or another mild mannered cat that does not need a friend - as Toby can live with other cats as long as he is given intro time.

Toby is FIV positive. There are a lot of misconceptions about FIV. FIV cats can live long and healthy lives. The following link puts some of those misconceptions to rest. Toby is completely asymptomatic and healthy and has been for the whole time we've known him. .FIV cats need to live without other cats or with cats that can cohabitate peacefully (no fighting).

Toby is neutered, feline leukemia negative, shots, microchipped.
