My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zurich is an incredibly cute ball of cottony fur that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wag and kiss. Once he gets a sudsy bath and grooming...Zurich will absolutely be one of the cutest puppies around. At just 4 months old and 9 lbs (anticipated to weigh about 15 lbs when full-grown) Zurich is every bit the puppy...fun and active....but at the same time he is a very well-behaved and happy puppy who is learning about the world.

At this early point in Zurich's development, he loves everyone..be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world by matching Zurich to a family who expresses their devotion for him in many different ways. We'd like Zurich to attend positive reinforcement group obedience group classes to be the very best adult dog he's capable of being. Right now, Zurich is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved guy around.

We'd also like Zurich to be placed in a home with gentle, dog-loving children or with an active adult family who will include him in their activities. Zurich is so portable that he can easily be a constant companion - he would love nothing more than hikes on beautiful Colorado trails, trips to the store (he's a great window-shopping friend) or even a place at a pet-friendly workplace. Zurich is so young that he can be introduced to virtually any situation...and if there is love and gentle guidance...he can succeed.

Zurich's new family needs to have the motivation and energy for a puppy...he requires training, behavioral guidance and tons of love to give him a positive attitude about the world.

Zurich will not be neutered when he arrives in Denver - while we request it, there just aren't enough vets to cover the needs of the vast number of homeless dogs in this part of Kansas. Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Zurich's's neuter and microchip if our Denver vet is used.

Zurich is a non-shedding guy and will therefore a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his coat cottony-soft and matt-free.

Zurich will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Tuesday 3/21/17. If interested in this very sweet guy who is full of love and personality, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
