Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Xena is just the most darling little lady, as you can probably tell from her pictures. You cannot tell, however, while she is in her kennel, as she is a little stressed in the shelter and bounces around quite a bit but please understand that she is not at all as she appears. Xena is an absolute love. She came to us with several other dogs that were found starving and neglected in a boarded up house in Newark. She spent several weeks getting plumped up and healthy and now, Xena is looking and feeling like a brand new puppy! She is still a puppy, at just a year old, and is so incredibly sweet and loving, and just wants to be with you and learn all about life. So many things seem new to Xena and some things frighten her a little so she will need a home without a lot of commotion and no very young children. She loves people so much though and seems just fine with other dogs. Once she gets comfortable, Xena is fun-loving and playful, and will bring lots of joy and happiness to a good family. We all just love this little lady, and hope that you will too. File#27002 1/24/17
