RUSTY's Story...
Isn't little Rusty a beautiful little fellow! He is a bigger Yorkie, and he's so very sweet. He was born around January of 2008, and he and his very best friend Katie, a little Terrier mix girl, had it made. They had a great home, lots of love, and everything was going well. Then a very, very sad thing happened---their human mommy passed away. No one else in the family could take them, so PAWS was contacted. Rusty has a very sweet disposition, and he keeps his cage so clean we think he is housebroken. Because he and Katie adore each other, we want them to go to their new home together. You can see Katie elsewhere on this website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUSTY, a Anna Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Anna, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Anna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anna paves the way for another one to be saved.
