Cat In The Hat (Neutered)'s Story...
"Cat In The Hat" is a sweet 6-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 18, 2017 after he was found in the Marietta Ohio area and brought to the safety of our shelter.

This good-looking guy has a black-and-white long smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with beautiful green eyes and a pink nose. "Cat In The Hat" has an affectionate, lovable personality. He appears to have been outdoors for awhile and his coat is in need of attention (a nice bath and brushing would do wonders), but he still has a dashing debonair aura surrounding him :)

"Cat In The Hat" was given vaccinations and wormer on March 18, 2017. He is a fairly big boy who weighs 8.8 lbs. "Cat In The Hat" was combo tested on March 28, 2017 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. He was neutered on March 29, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Cat In The Hat" weighed 9.1 lbs. on that date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cat In The Hat (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
