Foley's Story...
This handsome young man is Foley, a buff and white 3 year old boy that is hoping for a wonderful home of his own. Foley turned up at a local residents home, looking for something to eat and a little attention. He is happy to be safe and taken care of now and all he needs to make his life complete is a family of his own. Foley is an easy going and mellow sort of guy that is happy to make new friends. He's personable and sweet, and he just loves everyone he meets. He has a crinkled up ear from a hematoma that he had at some point in his life, but we feel it just adds to his character. Foley seems just fine with other cats and people of all ages too. He would transition easily into a great home! File#27094 3/12/17

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foley, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
