Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BARON's Story... If interested in this pet, please go to http://www.friendsofccas.org/FOCCAS_Adoptable_Dogs.html and fill out an application for adoption. You must fill out an application in order to meet the pets at our appointment only rescue shelter. All applications will be answered via email. Every dog deserves a home. Looking for a special someone to open their heart and home to Baron, a gorgeous German Shepherd. Baron is a striking, large (83 lbs) black and tan shepherd with gorgeous mahogany highlights in his coat. Pictures do not begin to do him justice. He is about 7 years old. He is a calm and quiet shepherd, who walks well on a leash. He is housebroken and good with most other dogs. His story is very heartbreaking. It appears he was abandoned by his previous owners just when Baron needed them the most. When you walk Baron , he is always looking for his people. He really wants to bond with someone. It truly breaks your heart. Baron ended up in a rural shelter and was out of time. Thanks to caring Shepherd lovers at 2 different rescues and a good Samaritan, Baron was saved in time and is currently being boarded at a kennel in Hudson, FL. However, Baron needs someone special to provide either a foster home or an adoptive home. We suspect that his owner dumped him when he discovered that Baron has perianal fistulas. He is currently being treated with medicine and responding wonderfully ! Baron needs someone to see him through treatment and to support him if he encounters a flare up in the future. Baron stayed true to his owner despite his abandonment. We are hoping that someone will step up and be that loyal partner for Baron. Baron is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and current on flea and heartworm prevention. Please contact Mike via email if you can be that loyal special someone to love Baron forever or provide a loving foster home for Baron to heal. Thank you so much for caring.
