Anouk's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Anouk's Story...
Anouk is a 6-year-old German Shepherd with a gentle personality. She is super sweet and will ask politely for your attention. Anouk loves the outdoors where she runs and plays. Her favorite game outside is hide and seek. Basically, she hides things from you and you have to go find them. How funny! Anouk has done great with the children she has met. She loves the excitement they bring to her daily routine. She would do best being a spoiled only furchild or potentially live with a dog that is her size. Anouk is crate and house trained, and just a soft and sweet shadow dog that will patiently watch after you.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet.

You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anouk, a CUMMING German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in CUMMING, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in CUMMING.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CUMMING already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CUMMING breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CUMMING paves the way for another one to be saved.
