Hi everybody, my name is Wheels. I've had a rough go of it lately, but I think things are starting to looks up for me. I was picked up by animal control after being hit by a car. My pelvis was broken, and I was having a great deal of difficulty walking.Injured kitties like me don’t usually get rescued from the pound, but some wonderful people saw how incredibly sweet I am and refused to let that be the end of the line for me. I needed more care than those very nice people could provide, but lucky for me Henrico Humane was willing to step in and help. I'm still recovering from my injury, but the doctors are very hopeful that I will be able to heal on my own without the intensive surgery that was originally planned for me.
Now all I need is to find the perfect forever home where I can finish recovering and live happily ever after.As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’m a very handsome guy. I'm not allowed to move around too much right now while I'm healing, but I always roll over for some belly rubs when my foster mom comes to play, and I purr as long as I can so she knows how much I love it. If I had to pick a favorite part of the day, it would be when I get to snuggle with my foster parents. I make a great lap warmer!
I may not be a kitten anymore, and I do need some more time to fully recover, but I just know there is a special home out there for a special boy like me.
