Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at www.paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
OWNER COURTESY LIST: THIS DOG IS STILL IN ORIGINAL HOME
She is spayed, housetrained, and up to date with all of her shots.
Reese is an incredibly loving, smart, and beautiful 5 year old Husky mix who would love to be in a home where she can be the center of attention. She needs an environment with no other pets or small children. A fenced in yard is a must for her because if given the chance she likes to escape and go exploring. We've given her so much love and she's brought us more joy than we could of imagined. We absolutely love this sweet girl and are hoping to find her the perfect new home. It is with very heavy hearts that we are giving her up, but our home is no longer the best environment for her. We have a new baby at home who has started crawling and LOVES the dog. She has never bitten him, but has showed some worrying behaviors and cant be trusted around the baby.
When she was a younger she went to the dog park often, and she was pretty good and minded her own business for the most part. But she has had a couple altercations with other dogs over toys or balls so we started keeping her away from other dogs altogether. Her biggest triggers are balls, toys, water and food. I believe she has anxiety from dogs she perceives as threatening that actually are not
She loves people, being pet, snuggling up for a good belly rub, and bones filled with peanut butter. She is a great companion who loves to go on walks, fetch tennis balls, and lay in the sun. She loves meeting new people, but will most likely greet them with a bark, so she could work on her manners a bit. She is house trained, knows basic commands, spayed, and up-to-date on all her shots. This precious girl is truly a great dog and really needs a loving home.
An ideal home would be:
No other pets
No small children
Time for exercise
Training experience
